Navy’s flagship anti-submarine aircraft Tu-142M will be turned into a museum.
The aircraft will be given to the Andhra Pradesh government to be converted into a museum and kept on the Beach Road close to the Submarine Kursura in Visakhaptnam.

Awards and Honours
Asian Business woman of the year
An Indian-origin educationist in the UK, has been named the Asian Business woman of the Year in an award ceremony in Birmingham.
65-year-old Dame Asha Khemka, Principal and CEO of West Nottinghamshire College, was honoured for her efforts in the field of education and skills at the Asian Business Awards ceremony
About her:
Born in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district, Dame Khemka left school after passing her exams at the age of 13.
She taught herself English by watching children’s TV shows and talking to other young mothers.
She went on to acquire a business degree from Cardiff University before becoming a lecturer and eventually taking over as principal and CEO of West Nottinghamshire College, one of the largest in the UK.
In 2013, she was awarded a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, one of Britain`s highest civilian awards.

Malala to become youngest United Nations Messenger of Peace
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has selected Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai to be a UN messenger of peace.
Also, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric announced that she would focus on promoting girls’ education worldwide.

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environments around him and its application to society. These questions will be such that they do not require a specific study of any discipline.
– Knowledge of current events
– Everyday observations and experience in the scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person
– India and its neighbouring countries
– Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economy, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research Over 70% of the questions will be related to Economy, Banking and Finance.


5.       IBPS PO – COMPUTER AWARENESS (20 marks, 20 questions)
General Knowledge on Computer usage and application (basic hardware and software)

Bank Exam Syllabus and Qualification

BANK
State Bank of India Probationary officers Exam. Indian Banking Sector in India is one of the vast Sectors, creating employments in thousands every year for the Indian Nationals. Banking jobs assure a decent pay scale, secured job opportunity and satisfying career prospects. Banking openings in India are available at different levels, from Bank Clerical to Probationary Officers, shortly known as Banking PO Exams. This examination is held every year by the Central Recruitment Board, State Bank Group, generally in the month of February. Blank application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of September of the previous year. The last date for submission of applications is generally second week of April.
